Bellway is building 210 new homes at the development, on land to the west of New Barge Pier Road – comprising one, two and three-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses.
The first homes to be built will be the Galleon Apartments, a four-storey building featuring 15 one, two and three-bedroom apartments for private sale, each with their own private terrace or balcony.
Located in the northern part of the site off New Garrison Road, this phase of the development will also include a second building comprising 15 one, two and three-bedroom affordable apartments, and a children’s play area.
Bellway is also investing more than £1.16 million into local infrastructure, which includes £493,000 for local schools, £30,000 for highways improvements to the junction of Campfield Road and Ness Road, and £26,000 for ecology mitigation.
